Taman Kekal Pengeluaran Makanan (TKPM) merupakan satu strategi di bawah Dasar Pertanian Negara Ketiga (DPN3) untuk menggalakkan pelaksanaan projek pertanian secara berskala besar, komersil dan berteknologi tinggi oleh usahawan termasuk sektor swasta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pembangunan TKPM melibatkan kerjasama antara Kerajaan Persekutuan, Kerajaan Negeri dan pengusaha. Bagi memudahkan pelaksanaan program di atas, Perjanjian Persefahaman (MOU) TKPM telah ditandatangani oleh Menteri Pertanian dengan Menteri Besar dan Ketua Menteri di semua negeri. Program TKPM mula dibangunkan pada RMK 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Projek Pembangunan Taman Kekal Pengeluaran Makanan (TKPM) selain daripada memfokuskan kepada pengeluaran makanan khususnya buah-buahan dan sayur- sayuran, projek ini juga dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi masalah kekurangan tanah yang sesuai untuk pengeluaran makanan yang sering dihadapi oleh usahawan dan sektor swasta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain dibangunkan di tanah Kerajaan Negeri ianya juga melibatkan pembangunan ditanah milik Kerajaan Persekutuan dan tanah-tanah di stesen- stesen pertanian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
